Stainless steel flange is an important part of pipeline connection, which has many kinds and complicated standards. The main characteristics of stainless steel flange are connection mode and sealing form. The main influencing parameters are pipeline pressure (selection of material affected by different media). Generally speaking, low pressure system (PN < 2.5MPA) adopts flat welding or plate stainless steel flange, common protruding surface (RF) seal, medium pressure system (2.5-64MPA) adopts butt welding stainless steel flange, RF or concave-convex surface (FM/M) dense. Sealing, high pressure system (above 10.0 MPA), usually using butt welding stainless steel flange, ladder groove (RJ) seal. In the low-pressure stainless steel system, sometimes loosened stainless steel flange or looper ring stainless steel flange is used to save cost and convenient maintenance.
