The glass of the boiler liquid level gauge is installed on the water level of the boiler and the panel of the liquid level window. It can be used to monitor the water level of the boiler, ensure that the water level of the boiler is within the normal control range, prevent the phenomenon of water drying and water filling, and ensure the normal operation of the boiler. The glass of the boiler liquid level gauge is one of the important safety accessories on the boiler.
Generally, the liquid level gauge glass installed in the boiler is transparent glass plate and reflective glass plate. The transparent liquid level gauge glass plate is mainly used to observe the liquid level of opaque or colored liquid; the reflective liquid level gauge glass plate is mainly used to observe the liquid level of colorless and transparent liquid.
There are the following types of boiler level gauge glasses:
1. Common type: the boiler with pressure grade less than or equal to 8.5MPa and medium temperature less than or equal to 300 ℃.
2. High temperature and high pressure type: the boiler with pressure grade greater than 8.5MPa and medium temperature greater than 300 ℃ is used.
3. High temperature type: the boiler with pressure grade less than or equal to 8.5MPa and medium temperature greater than 300 ℃ is used.
It should be noted that the boiler level gauge has obvious signs indicating the highest, lowest safe water level and normal water level. The lowest visible edge of the gauge glass shall be 25 mm lower than the lowest safe water level and the highest visible edge shall be 25 mm higher than the highest safe water level.
