Overview of Application Methods of High Temperature Resistant Glass

The correct use of high temperature resistant glass has a certain relationship with the service life of the glass. Understanding the precautions for use can better and safer use the product.
① Strict cleaning treatment. If very small alkali metals such as sodium and potassium and their compounds are stained on the surface of high-temperature resistant glass, they will become crystal nuclei when used at high temperature, and will crystallize rapidly, causing impermeability. Therefore, before use, be sure to immerse the high-temperature glass in hydrofluoric acid with a concentration of 5~20% for 5~10min, and then wash it fully with deionized water. Finally, wipe it with degreasing gauze, dry it, and do not touch the dried furnace tube directly with your hands.
② High temperature pretreatment: when a new diffusion furnace fire is used to replace a new furnace, high temperature pretreatment must be carried out.
③ Please pay special attention to 573 ℃, 573 ℃ is the crystal transformation point of high temperature resistant glass. Whether it is heating up or cooling down, it must pass through this temperature point quickly.
④ Try to avoid unnecessary quenching and heating. Although high-temperature resistant glass has good heat stability, opaque high-temperature resistant glass or transparent high-temperature resistant glass with a thickness greater than 5mm is prone to cracks when the temperature changes too much.
⑤ When installing the glass, it is necessary to pad the gasket, and the force should not be too large when tightening the screws to prevent the glass from being crushed.
