Adsorption and Purification of Ultra High Temperature Resistant Glass

        Chemical adsorption is caused by the chemical element bond between adsorbate and solid. This adsorption force is much higher than the van der Waals force of physical adsorption, and the released adsorption heat is also much higher than that of physical adsorption. Most of this adsorption is irreversible, and the original material has undergone chemical changes after desorption.


 
        There is no chemical reaction during physical adsorption, which is caused by the attraction between gas or liquid molecules and solid surface molecules. It is called "van der Waals adsorption", which is a reversible process. The adsorbed molecules are not easy to be adsorbed and reduced. When the partial pressure of the adsorbed material reaches equilibrium with the partial pressure in the gas phase, the adsorbed molecules are not easy to be adsorbed and may escape into the gas phase. Using this phenomenon, desorption or adsorption can be carried out for regeneration. In industrial applications, adsorption and regeneration are reversible cyclic processes.
 
        There are two kinds of adsorption equipment: solid bed adsorber and moving bed adsorber. The adsorption operation is divided into indirect operation, semi continuous operation and continuous operation.
