Where is High Pressure Resistant Glass Used?

 

        High pressure resistant glass is a kind of glass used in the place where the pressure is 0.1-25mpa, and the service environment is very special.

        High pressure resistant glass can still maintain its original integrity, permeability and thermal properties under high pressure. It should be noted that the pressure mentioned here is formed by liquid medium or gas medium, excluding the impact pressure generated by blasting. So where is the high-pressure glass used?


 

        1. pressure reactor. The pressure of the pressure reactor is generally 3-30mpa. For example, some chemical products need to be produced in this equipment. During the production process, higher pressure is required. The glass used for observing substances must use high-pressure glass.

        2. industrial pipeline. The medium in the industrial pipeline will produce a certain pressure, such as nitrogen, helium and other gases. Some of the pressures are even as high as 15MPa. Pressure resistant glass is required here to observe.

        3. pressure vessel. The pressure source of the pressure vessel has a dynamic nature, and there is the possibility of explosion caused by exceeding the rated pressure. Therefore, the glass on the pressure vessel must have high-pressure resistance.

        4. for steam boiler, the steam pressure at the boiler outlet is 2-30mpa. Here, high-pressure glass is required to observe the conditions of substances in the boiler.

        5. underwater submarine. Deep water will generate pressure, and the deeper the water, the greater the pressure. When the submarine dives into deep water, high-pressure glass is indispensable.
