The water level gauge glass is generally made of borosilicate glass after tempering. It is used on the water level gauge of boiler or petrochemical pressure vessel. It is a very important element to observe the liquid level. However, many users do not know the difference between the flat and slotted water level gauge glasses, so they cannot correctly select the required products. Here is the difference between the flat and slotted water level gauge glasses.
1. the flat water level gauge is also called flat light water level gauge glass. The glass is polished on both sides and has smooth observation surface and sealing surface. The product has high pressure resistance and is generally used for pressure vessels with working pressure greater than 4.5MPa.
2. slotted water level gauge glass is also called slotted water level gauge glass. It generally refers to a multi slotted glass plate with a smooth observation surface, and its back is a sealing surface with multiple edges. It is applicable to pressure vessels with pressure range less than 5.0mpa.
In the industry, the plane water level gauge is called R type, and the slotted water level gauge glass is called T type.
