What is laminated glass
Laminated glass is also called laminated glass. Laminated glass is a composite glass product consisting of two or more pieces of glass with one or more layers of organic polymer intermediate film sandwiched between them. After special high temperature preloading and high temperature and high pressure processing, the glass and intermediate film are permanently bonded into one.
Commonly used laminated glass intermediate films include PVB, SGP, EVA, PU, etc. In addition, there are some special ones, such as colored intermediate film laminated glass, SGX type printed intermediate film laminated glass, XIR type LOW - E intermediate film laminated glass, etc. Decorative and functional laminated glass with embedded decorative parts (metal mesh, metal plate, etc.), laminated glass with embedded PET material, etc.
Laminated glass is a kind of safety glass with excellent performance. It has good permeability, high mechanical strength, light resistance, heat resistance, cold resistance and other properties. Laminated glass has good impact resistance and safety performance when broken. When the laminated glass is broken by impact, the fragments still stand firmly on the laminated glass and are not easy to hurt people.
