Refractive index The refractive index of quartz glass is very small, the refractive index of transparent quartz glass is n=1.45845, and the standard value of optical quartz glass is 20=C = 1.4586±4×10-4. The refractive index in the ultraviolet portion (214.4 nm - 280.3 nm) is 1.5341-1.4942; in the visible portion (404.6 nm - 766.5 nm) is 1.4698-1.45413; in the infrared portion (863.0 nm - 36501 nm) is 1.45251-1.47454, with wavelength Increase and decrease in refractive index.

Translucent Transparent quartz glass has excellent infrared and ultraviolet transmission properties.
