The common far-infrared heating tube is made of opal quartz sheet processed by special technology and resistor material. Because opal quartz glass can absorb all visible and near-infrared radiation from electric heating filament and convert it into far-infrared radiation.
However, the current industrial infrared heating tube basically eliminated the milky white quartz sheet, because its material is comparatively brittle, so it can not constitute a long milky white heating tube. And milky white has the effect of shading, which prevents its heat. Because of its high wall temperature, it is only suitable for near infrared heating.
