Optical properties of quartz glass tube
Quartz glass tube has a very good transmittance in the whole wavelength. In the infrared region (except for special infrared glass tube), the spectral transmission range is larger than that of ordinary glass tube. In the visible spectrum area, the transmittance is up to 93%, and the transmittance of the UV spectral region, especially in the short wave ultraviolet spectrum region, is much better than that of the other glass tubees. The optical properties of silica glass tube largely depend on its chemical purity. Even 0.001% of impurities obviously affect the product. The content of transition metal will change the wavelength to the direction of long wave. The existence of base will absorb 2.73 M band. There are three brands of domestic optical quartz glass tube: JGS1 far ultraviolet quartz glass tube, the application of band 185-2500 m, made of synthetic quartz, SiCl4 as raw material; JGS2 ultraviolet quartz glass tube, the application of band 220-2500 m, made of crystal materials, gas refining production method; JGS3 infrared optical quartz glass tube, the application of band 260-3500 m, the crystal or high purity quartz sand as raw materials, production of vacuum pressure furnace. There is also a full band optical quartz glass tube abroad. The application band is 180-4000 micron m, which is produced by plasma (water free H2 free state) chemical vapor deposition, and purified SiCl4 is used as raw material. A small amount of TiO2 in quartz glass tube can filter out ultraviolet light below 220 m, which is called ozone free silica glass tube, because ultraviolet light below 220 M can turn oxygen into ozone in air. A small amount of cerium, titanium, europium and other elements can be filtered into silica glass tube, which can filter the UVB below 340 micron m, and the electric light source can act on the human skin. This glass tube can also make laser lamp and laser service life. Optical quartz glass tube has a series of optical properties, such as refractive index, optical homogeneity, particle structure, birefringence, stress and dispersion.
