If you are a customer purchasing quartz tube, the following points should be noted in the cutting and pickling process:
1. HF can be used as cleaning reagent for quartz tube. Of course, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid or other combined acids can also be used. The concentration of acid can be controlled below 5%, and chemical protective equipment can be used.
2. Strict control of acid concentration and time to prevent quartz tubes from being washed (i.e. impermeable) or unclean. Therefore, it is necessary to detect acid concentration every 8 hours.
3. The water used to clean quartz tubes must be deionized water which has been purified. If the quartz surface is not clean, it will easily produce crystallization or acid fog, which will affect the transmittance of quartz tubes.
4. Of course, the wastewater containing acid can not be discharged directly. The simple method is to collect the wastewater centrally through plastic pipes, and then add liquid (or solid) alkali to neutralize it, so that it can be discharged after meeting the environmental protection requirements.
